A little piece of my story.


 

Although I'm based in Rome, a piece of me belongs to many corners of the world. I'm originally from Romania, where my story began. Later, I moved to Switzerland, where I spent part of my life and completed my studies, before eventually making Italy my home. My family is spread across different countries, so travelling has always been part of my life. I often visit my relatives in the Netherlands, and I hope it won't be long before I can spend more time in the US too, where part of my family also lives. Growing up between different places has taught me that home isn't always one specific place. Sometimes, it's the people you're with. I think that's one of the reasons why destination weddings and elopements feel so natural to me. ​

 

Photography found me through my father. Watching him photograph family moments made me curious, but I never thought it could become a job. Instead, I pursued my love of stories and became a librarian, even though I didn't yet know I would eventually spend my own life telling them in a different way. ​

People often ask me what makes a photograph special. For me, it has never been about pressing a shutter. It's about what you feel in that exact moment. Photography is deeply personal. Two people can stand in the exact same place, at the exact same time, and create completely different images. That's why choosing a photographer isn't only about loving their portfolio. It's about connecting with the way they see the world. Because those photographs will always carry a little piece of the person behind the camera. ​
